Hands down the best BBQ in Memphis. The Rendezvous is for tourists and rookies. If you want real Memphis BBQ this is the place to get it.

The service was a wee bit lacking (at this location) but in all honesty, if I wanted better service I would not have gone to Tops. We went for the food and it was excellent. (Reply to Owner) In hindsight, your staff was great. There were at least three overly pretentious customers that didn't notice other people were in line. One of which felt confident enough to loudly direct the kitchen workers on the correct preparation of his order, from a seated position just inside the side door. So, my wait time was longer than I expected, but it wasn't the staff's fault.

I love this place, in the 90s it was my go-to for a quick Jumbo BBQ combo, beans and fries on the side - extra bbq sauce please. Its in Midtown so its sketchy at times outside, but you are in/out pretty quick. Wish they had a drive through!

I ordered the turkey burger, baked potato and apple turnover with a sprite to drink. Everything was scrumptious, the cashier was nice, the cooks were attentive and friendly interacting with the customers. I didn't get out of the parking lot before eating my food lol. I tried to call to give them their props but the crowd started coming in which means they couldn't answer the phone. Attn Management....Please give your crew that worked Saturday November 2nd 2019 a raise JOB WELL DONE.

Stopped by for breakfast and had the sausage, egg and cheese sammich and it did not disappoint! Really good flavor and the woman working got our food out quickly.

This place is delicious. The food is always super fresh. The ppl who work there are always super nice!!! And they have KoolAid!!! I like the fact they are open super early too.

Great food! Ordered Jumbo BBQ pork shoulder, slaw, baked beans &drink Hubby got sampler platter (ribs, pulled pork, brisket), potato salad and baked beans &drink Really good, fast & friendly service . Reasonably priced. Dine in area was clean. Wish I had taken a picture of the food, but ate it too fast, so delicious!

We haven’t been in the area since the pandemic hit and we’re excited to go back to Tops. We were not disappointed. Our ribs were juicy and tender with a beautiful crust. Their sweet BBQ sauce is delicious but hardly necessary. I’d like to try their breakfast sometime, and the burgers looked good too. We’re so glad to be back!
